Nach langem Hin und Her hat man sich am 5.11.2024 im EU-Rat über Inhalt und Zeitplan der ViDA- Initiative („VAT in the Digital Age“) geeinigt. Der gefundene Kompromiss gibt den Mitgliedstaaten mehr Zeit, um die Neuregelungen umzusetzen.
